Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use the Opportiva app, provided by Opportiva. By using Opportiva you agree to them.
The service
Opportiva lists job openings in Tanzania from public sources and employers, lets you save jobs, get alerts and build a CV. Opportiva is not an employer or a recruitment agency. Applications go directly to the employer.
Your account
- You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone or email. Keep your phone and email secure and never share your code.
- The information you enter, including your CV, must be truthful and your own.
- You can delete your account at any time (see how).
Job listings
- Listings come from third parties. We check sources, but we cannot guarantee that every listing is accurate, current or still open. Always confirm details on the employer's own posting.
- Genuine employers never ask you to pay to apply or to get a job. If a listing asks for money, do not pay, and report it to info.opportiva@zentrixafrica.com.
Paid plans
- Plans and prices. Weekly (TSh 2,000 for 7 days) and Monthly (TSh 7,000 for 30 days). The app shows what each plan includes before you pay. Prices include any applicable taxes.
- Payment. You pay with mobile money (M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Mixx by Yas, HaloPesa and others) through our payment provider. Your plan starts as soon as the payment is confirmed.
- No automatic renewal. We never charge you without your approval. Each payment is a single payment you approve on your phone. When your plan ends, the paid features lock again until you pay again. If you pay before your plan ends, the new days are added to the end of your current plan.
- Cancelling. Because nothing renews, there is nothing to cancel: simply do not pay again. A payment that is still waiting for your approval can be cancelled in the app.
- Refunds. If you were charged but your plan did not start, or you were charged twice, contact us within 14 days at info.opportiva@zentrixafrica.com with the mobile money reference and we will start your plan or refund you. Days already started on a plan are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
- Changes. We may change prices or what a plan includes. Changes never affect a plan you have already paid for.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Opportiva: no fake accounts, no attempts to break or overload the service, no copying listings in bulk, and nothing illegal.
Liability
Opportiva is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for decisions made by employers, for the content of third-party listings, or for losses arising from using the service.
Changes and ending use
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
